Elia Candida Jimenez's Obituary
JIMENEZ, ELIA CANDIDA 85, born October 3rd, 1927 in Donna, Texas to Hilario and Andrea Sifuentes (both of blessed memory) passed away on September 13, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hipolito “Polo” Jimenez on March 19th, 1989. They truly loved each other with a devotion rarely ever seen. Elia was a dedicated wife, an excellent homemaker, and the consummate loving mother who raised 9 children…all ingrained with the importance of family. She had five sons: Richard (Mary), Victor, David, and Roland (Thaly) Jimenez of Dallas, and Polo Jr. (Jo Ann) of Houston, Texas; and four daughters: Irma(Kevin) of North Mankato, Minnesota, Irene (John) of Spring, Texas and Elia and Beverly of Dallas, Texas. She also had 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Elvira and Enedelia, and brother Salamon. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:00 PM in Restland Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Memorials may be ordered at http://www.rembrandtflorist.com/
