Eligio "Lee" Castro Ramos' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eligio "Lee" Ramos. On Sunday September 6, 2020, he passed away in his sleep on his favorite yearly golf trip. He was a loving husband, father, brother and one of his greatest joys was being Pops to his grandchildren.
Lee was born to the late Rita Castro and Guadalupe Ramos on December 29,1954 in Harlingen, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Victoria; daughters, Angela and husband Jamie, Andrea and husband Jeff, Amanda and husband Shawn; beloved granddaughters, Ariana & Alayna; beloved grandsons Coby, Cameron, Breck, Garrett & Conner; brothers, Ese and wife Rebecca, Wally and wife Lori; sisters, Jane, Polly and husband Brian; five children from his previous marriage, Christopher, Jamie, Bruce, Celina and Jessica; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Cipirina.
He served in the US Air Force from 1974-1978 in Computer Services.
His sense of humor was contagious. He was funny, sarcastic and quick witted. He had a big heart, warm smile and many lifelong friendships.
He was an avid golfer, loved to cook, and since retiring in 2018 enjoyed traveling in his RV with family and friends. Lee and Victoria were always looking for their next adventure.
Lee will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
