Elise Gertrude Jasper's Obituary
Elise Gertrude Jasper, 78, of Allen, Texas passed away on July 2, 2020 in Frisco, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1942 to Leo Niekerk Jr. and Emma Niekerk in Waterbury, CT and went to work for American Airlines, her dream job, at age 19. This began her love of travel. There, she had a fulfilling career for 39 years before retiring.
Elise was an avid reader and she loved Mystery books and books on birds. She loved to travel, especially on cruises. Elise volunteered at Cedar Creek Lake Resource Center and was a huge dog lover and rescue advocate. She deeply missed her sweet "baby girl, Maggie" her Yellow Labrador, who passed away in October of 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Emma Niekerk and her husband, Lee Roy Jasper.
Elise is survived by her step-daughter, Sandy Tutt and husband, Joe of Mesquite, TX; step-daughter, Sharon Jasper of Westlake, LA; step-son, David Jasper of Sanford, FL; step-son, James Jasper and wife, Debbie of Allen, TX; brother, Leo Niekerk and wife, Judy and a host of grand children, great grandchildren and loving family.
