Elizabeth Ann Baggett's Obituary
Beloved sister, aunt and friend, died peacefully Friday, July 25, 2008. She was born on July 17, 1926 to Thea and Ben Baggett in Houston, Texas. Her family moved to Godley in the 1930’s and to Dallas in 1943. She began her banking career at the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. Later she was employed by Preston State Bank where she rose to the position of vice president. She was a member of the American Institute of Banking, National Association of Bank Women, and Bank Administration Institute. Miss Baggett spent time with family and friends, researching genealogy, and perfecting her computer skills. She will be missed by her sister, Mary White of Dallas, her niece, Betty Rivers and husband Paul of Houston; her niece, Martha Shelton and husband John of Chelmsford, MA; her nephew, Barry White and wife Jan of Richmond, VA, and great-nieces and great-nephews; Ben, Beth, Brandy, Joe, Derin, Clare, Philip, Alex and Frances. A longtime member of the First Methodist Church of Dallas, she was predeceased in death by her parents.
