BLACKMON, ELIZABETH ANN • 71 • Born in Dallas, Texas on April 12, 1942 • Passed Away in Garland, Texas on April 13, 2013 • She was a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted mother and doting grandmother and aunt. Liz was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended the University of North Texas. Her career combined her passion for sewing and being with people. She was the owner of Fabrics Works, an upholstery company. She also worked in management at Cloth World, JoAnn Fabric and Crafts Store and Walmart. She was an artist in everything that she did. She loved sewing, quilting and crafting. • She is survived by her son, Robert Todd Blackmon of Garland, her daughter, Lisa Blackmon Pool of Laredo, her two grand children, Taylor Pool and Natalie Pool of Laredo, her mother, Myrtice Dean Brownlee, her brothers, Woodrow O. Brownlee and wife Linda R. Brownlee, Robert Dean Brownlee and domestic partner Dr. William Jordan, and James W. Brownlee and wife Kathy Brownlee, her nephew and nieces, Bo Brownlee and wife Sherry Brownlee, Shelley Brownlee, Malinda Brownlee Howell and husband Keith Howell, Jeff Brownlee and wife Carissa Brownlee, Amy Brownlee and Kevin Brownlee and her grand nephews and niece, Evin Brownlee, Brandon Brownlee and Cooper Brownlee • Services will be held on Tuesday, April, 16th at 10:00 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
