Elizabeth S. Bubel's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” Bubel passed away peacefully at the age of 85 in her home in Dallas following a long illness. She was born on February 10, 1931 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of William and Mary Striler. She married Richard J. Bubel on September 9, 1950. They moved to Dallas, Texas in 1970 with their 4 children. Betty ran a successful real estate business for about 2 decades, where most of her customers ended up “adopting” her. She loved spending time with her family and traveling with her husband. She was known to friends and family as a fun loving, sassy, wonderful woman, who will be sorely missed. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary, and brother Bob. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Richard, her son Roger, his wife Michal, their daughters: MacKenzie and Morgan; her son Michael, his wife Gail, their children: Heather and her husband Johnny, Matt, Chelsea, and her husband Rene; her son Timothy, his wife Laurie, their children: Neil and his wife Jennifer, Kevin, and Stephanie; and her daughter Mary and her husband Mike, their daughters: Christina, Nicole, Amanda, and Kaylee; and her 3 great grandchildren, Adrian, Tiana, and Isabella. Betty was deeply grateful for the care given to her by Vitas Hospice Care. Richard and the Bubel family much appreciate the special care from Kaytreel, who always brought a smile to Betty’s face. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
