Elizabeth Ann Carraway's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Heath Carraway was born October 9, 1932 in Gordonville, TX, and she passed away on April 13, 2024. After moving at the age of nine, she became an 82-year resident of Garland, TX. She had worked for the First National Bank of Garland, and then she retired from Texas Bank after 25 years of total service.
She died in Fate, TX on the 73rd wedding anniversary of her beloved husband, the late Robert Arnon Carraway. More commonly known as “Sugar,” she is survived by her five children, daughters Beth Sznajder, Barbara Schrodt, and Brenda Pollard, sons, Robert and Russell Carraway, sisters June Morris and Martha Farr, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will start at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the chapel at First Baptist Church of Garland, TX, immediately followed by funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM.
She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
