I'm so glad I got to know Elizabeth through my 19-year friendship with her daughter, Helen. "Queen Elizabeth", as I liked to call her, and George and Helen have always been so supportive and accepting. We will surely miss Elizabeth, but know that she has gone ahead of us to her eternal home which is full of God's glory and grace. It will be a great reunion one day when we are together again. Until then, I pray that the Chalmers family will experience God's comfort and peace.
A faithful part of our ladies Bible study for years, Elizabeth could always be counted on to smile, bring cheer and never be discouraged. She was grateful for every day that God blessed her with and she, in turn, blessed everyone who knew her. I know she is leaping for joy in heaven right now. Ellie Langdon
