Restland Funeral Home visitation for Elizabeth Gail Stovall, 75, of Richardson will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland, funeral services to be held directly after at 3 p.m., with Reverend Doctor Douglas Skinner of Northway Christian Church officiating. Elizabeth (Betty} Gail Stovall was born on January 18, 1943 in Louisville, KY. Betty graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from Secretarial School in Dallas. Betty worked for Fidelity Insurance as an underwriter until her retirement in 2008. Betty’s passion was horses; they brought her incredible happiness. She even loved to draw horses. Betty enjoyed plants, crafting, shopping, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughters. She was known to convince many, namely her daughter Jodie or her niece Jenna, to accompany her to Garden Ridge and close it down at night with a fun shopping spree! Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Lancaster Gayle Nelson, and her mother Ruth Elizabeth Bennett Nelson. She is survived by her daughter Jodie Melissa Stovall Millican; son-in-law, Kenneth Lee Edward Millican; granddaughters Kathleena Marie and Erin Nicole Millican; brother, Robert Nelson; sister-in-law, Shiryl Nelson; niece, Jenna Hite; nephew Scott Hite; great-nieces Courtney Thurston and Christina Stout; great-nephews Brandon Boren and Travis Thurston; great-great nieces Olivia Thurston and Natalie Stout, and great-great nephew Leo Stout. The pallbearers will be Scott Hite, Brandon Boren, Travis Thurston and James Davis. The family of Elizabeth Gail Stovall wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the City of Richardson’s first responders for their compassion and their professionalism.
