Elizabeth Anne Gladman's Obituary
Live, Laugh and Love is the best way to describe Elizabeth Anne Gladman who passed away peacefully in Richardson, Texas on October 23, 2021. She was born on June 20, 1934, in Bristol England to her Catholic parents, David and Eunice Morgan. Elizabeth was the eldest of 4 brothers, Paul (deceased), Damion (deceased), Patrick and Andrew and 2 sisters, Mary and Rachel.
After spending her childhood years in England, Elizabeth’s family moved to Ontario, Canada where she became a hairstylist and beautician. Elizabeth met her husband, Edward John (Ted) Gladman, through a client, Connie, who was Ted’s sister. Connie arranged a blind date for Liz with her brother, Bert. However, Bert was unable to attend so he asked Ted to take his place. The rest is history. Elizabeth and Ted were married in Canada December 7, 1959. Soon after, they attempted a journey to California for a job opportunity. That journey ended in Dallas where their car broke down. After nearly three years in south Dallas, they moved to Lexington Lane in Richardson where they resided for the rest of their lives.
Elizabeth will be remembered for her heart of gold and love of family. Her love, kindness and generosity to people and animals is unmatched. In addition, Elizabeth never met a stranger. If anyone needed anything, she was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her house was open to all, day and night. Elizabeth treated all her son’s friends as her own children. She loved music, sports, dancing, cooking and gardening. The only fears Elizabeth had was the fear of being alone and fear of missing out. Fortunately, those fears were rarely encountered.
Elizabeth was a great mother and is survived by her three sons, Stephen and his wife, Stacey; Mark; John and his wife, Melissa; her two grandchildren, Brittany and Blake and three great granddaughters, Noelle, Giovanna and Evangeline.
May she rest in peace. Cheerio, Elizabeth.
