Elizabeth Luter Hutt

Elizabeth Luter Hutt (Connie), 84, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 19, 1941, in Carriere, Mississippi, to Robert Alva Luter, Jr. and Elizabeth Trest Luter.
Connie lived a life full of love, grace, and creativity. She married William Edward Hutt on January 19, 1963, in her hometown of Indianola, Mississippi. Together, they created a beautiful, enduring life together that spanned 57 years. Connie’s devotion to her family was a constant throughout her life, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, and homemaker. Connie’s many talents were evident in everything she did. She was a gifted seamstress, photographer, and floral designer.
Connie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Carolyn Hutt of Fairhope, Alabama, Susie Wiginton and her husband Ken Wiginton of McKinney, Texas and Jenny Hanks and her husband Scott Hanks of Houston, Texas. She was a proud grandmother to Hutt Wiginton, Harry Wiginton, John David Lineberger, Annie Lineberger, Emily Lineberger, Jack Hanks, Emma Hanks and Hattie Hanks. Connie is also survived by her sister, Jan Murphy, and her cousin, Jean Stout.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Hutt, her brother in law, Richard Murphy, and her parents, Robert Luter, Jr. and Elizabeth Luter.
A private, graveside burial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, where Connie will be laid to rest beside her husband.
