Elizabeth Ann Lineback, 90, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Saturday, March 23, 1929, to her loving and thoughtful parents Arthur Miller and Clara (Mercer) Miller in G Read Obituary
Libby and her husband Jim were the kindest couple, whom I have ever met. I had the privilege of living 2 houses from them. They were wonderful leaders in scouting and their community. They were true Christians and completely nonjudgmental.

I was just thinking about Mrs. Lineback about the time she passed even though I had not seen her in 50 years. She was my Den mother in Cub Scouts. She taught me many things and inspired me to be the best person I can and to help others. She and her husband, Jim, helped me build a wooden bench when I was 10 years old which I still have to this day. I am so happy that she lived a long life and so many had the pleasure to know her.
Libby and I have known each other since kindergarten days at the Greenfield, OH schools. We have remained friends through the years with written correspondence, except for 3 or so years in the 70's when we lived in the Dallas, TX area. She helped us with locating a house in a suitable community and it was only 15-20 minutes or so from her home so we were able to reestablish the friendship which was wonderful for us.
One thing I especially remember her for during our growing up years is that they had a piano in a front "entry way" of her home and she had this one song which she played with much gusto, I think it may have been "Winter Wonderland". Their home was across the street from the school and her father was employed by the Greenfield School system. She was part of a group of us who "hung out" together during high school and continued to get together whenever we all got back to Greenfield for visits. I admired her for her ability to cope with increasing blindness. I will miss her.

Libby and her family were the only sanity I had as a 16 year old newcomer to Texas in the mid-70's! She was like a 2nd mom, always stable and wonderful. Her mom and mine have known each other since kindergarten in Greenfield, Ohio. Memories. Wonderful woman. I know her family will miss her forever, but so blessed to have had her for so many memorable years.
