Elizabeth Dorothy Pugh's Obituary
PUGH, ELIZABETH DOROTHY born on October 21, 1935 in Turkey Creek, LA and passed away on June 13, 2014 at Baylor University Medical Center of Dallas surrounded by her family. Dorothy taught Sunday school in the Baptist church and was a member at First Baptist Church, Seagoville, TX. She was a Past Matron of the Love Field Lodge, Eastern Star, Dallas Chapter No. 1, and member of several state committees. Dorothy worked as a teacher’s aide at Marsh Middle School in Dallas for 27 years. She married Calvin Wallace Pugh on April 17, 1955, parted with him at his death on October 20, 2007. Dorothy taught her children to laugh, to love and to care more deeply about everyone else than about themselves. She was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend. Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory children: Calvin, DiAnne and husband Ronny, David, Richard and wife Diana; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Versie DeShotel, Juanita Clark, Teena Satcher, Yvonne Masaki, Yona Lilly and husband, Benny; brothers, Clyde Clark and wife Dea, Carl Clark, Clayton Clark, Charles Clark; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel, and will be officiated by Dr. Don Cole, First Baptist Church, Seagoville, TX. The family would like to thank The Waterford at Mesquite, Tina Martin and Heritage Home Health Care.
