We have so many memories of our trips to visit relatives in Texas, one of our favorites was to go to Dallas to see Marie, Dot and Jane…. My Dad (Robert Howard Solley) was so very fond of them. We would meet all the "girls" and go to Uncle Roland's Cafeteria for lunch. I have a wonderful picture of us all in front of the restaurant. I so enjoyed the correspondence I had with Marie over the years, she will be deeply missed by all. The family was so blessed to have had her near them for so long. Such a sweet, sweet lady with a good sense of humor. Our condolences to the rest of the family. I'm so happy two of my sons were able to meet her when we visited Dallas a few years ago, they loved her too. She told me great stories about my Dad, Virgil, Dottie and her, they were so close, more like siblings than cousins. Such a good sense of humor, she offered to let my son Nick drive her grandsons Mustang (he didn't, don't worry) and laughed when he refused because he didn't want to potentially cause even a scratch on such a beautiful car. Condolences to all of Aunt Marie's family and friends. It's been many years, but I remember her as a sweet and funny lady when we would visit with my parents.
