Elizabeth Rose Wisakowsky's Obituary
WISAKOWSKY, ELIZABETH ROSE a loving mother, adoring grandmother, backyard gardner, avid reader, passionate traveler and faithful servant entered eternal life on Friday, May 2, 2014. Her spirit is carried on by her two daughters and their families. Jeff and Lynda Piepgras and their children, Julia, Max and John Luke; Mike and Laurie Senecal and their children, Will and Keegan; sister, Jean Falls and so many family members and friends that will miss her beautiful smile and wonderful laughter. Elizabeth will be remembered for many things, especially her love of words and books, and her animated storytelling to her grand kids. She was born in Edinburgh Scotland on February 17, 1938. After graduating from St Anne’s Catholic school at age 18 she moved to Dallas where she met Arthur Andrew, a handsome blue eyed blond haired Texan who became her husband of over 50 years, raising 3 children, Michael,Laurie and Lynda. A lifetime of happy memories were made in their welcoming home. Her compassion, and love for all the people in her care was unwavering. Elizabeth is reunited with her husband, Arthur; son, Michael and dearest friend, Anita Whelan. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM St Patricks Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Rd., Dallas. In honoring “Liz’s Legacy” please consider a contribution to The Vlk family fund their daughter Audrey, a lovely junior at Bishop Lynch, was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
