Ellen Louise Cook's Obituary
Ellen Louise Goldston Cook was born on Oct. 23, 1928 in Duncan, Okla. and passed away in McKinney, TX. on Oct. 28, 2018. Mrs. Cook had received her bachelor’s degree from the Meredith College and a Masters degree from the University of North Texas. She had worked as executive assistant, real estate corp for the Henry S. Miller Co. Inc. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Cook, her parents Raymond Monreau Goldston and Mamie Ellen Pollock Goldston, her brother, Raymond Monreau Goldston, Jr. and by a sister, Mary Alice Goldston Watkins.She is survived by daughters; Jennifer Ellen Cook Gilpin of Dallas, Nancy Gayle Cook Gustine of Bonham and by Laura Alison Cook Dozier of Guthrie, Okla.Grandsons; William Preston Beattie and Samuel Lee Gustine, Granddaughters; Jaclyn Kali Gilpin, Kira Riana Gilpin, Hannah Marie Gustine Avila, Rebekah Lynn Gustine, Sarah Beth Gustine, Susannah Joy Gustine Bradley and Katrinah Grace Gustine, Great Grandchildren; Michael Lee Gustine, Jaxon Lane Gustine and Olivia Grace Bradley. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at the Restland Funeral Home with Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Tues., Oct. 30, 2018 In the Restland Wildwood Chapel. Burial will be 10:30 am, Wed., Oct. 31, 2018 at the DFW National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Texas Baptist Men or to the First Baptist Church of Dallas.
