Ellen Beth Rouse's Obituary
Ellen Rouse of Sachse, Texas passed away on December 7th at the age of 72. She was born February 20, 1951 to Walt and Patricia Hale.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Mike, daughter Heather Gorman, son Aaron Berg, daughter Kristen Paine, son Jordan Berg, step-daughter Kimberly Kempson; spouses of her children Keith Gorman, Janie Berg, Jarin Paine, Brad Kempson; brother David Hale; and nine grandchildren Sam, Ben and Tyler Gorman, Ethan, Lillian and Christian Berg, Elliana, Knox and Kohen Paine, and Lillian and Madison Bowden. Ellen is also survived by her former husband, Rolf Berg.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Funeral services will be held at New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland on December 13, 2023 at 11:00am with committal service to follow at Restland.
Ellen served in various professions throughout the years including banking, embroidery and software sales consulting. However, Ellen’s true passion was pouring her heart and soul into her family. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren more than words can express. As she would always say about her grandkids, “They keep me young!” Ellen loved all things nature including gardening and bird watching. She lived life with a God-given child-like spirit and all guests are encouraged to wear bright colors to celebrate Ellen’s life.
