Ellen Tucker Walker's Obituary
WALKER, Ellen Tucker. January 27, 1949 – July 25, 2015. Ellen passed away July 25, 2015 at her home with her husband, Harry, at her side. Ellen was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed. She was born and raised in Dallas, was a longtime attendee of Lake Highlands Baptist Church and a graduate of Bryan Adams High School, where she was a cheerleader. For most of her life, she was an avid tennis player and collector. She was passionate about cats always, having raised and adored many. She also loved travel; in particular, her many travels in England and Scotland. Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Marie Tucker of Dallas. She is survived by her husband Harry Walker; daughter Michele Walker; son Worthy Walker; grandchildren Payton, Sydney and Dean; and her sisters Virginia and Ann Marie. A memorial service will be held August 1, 2015 at 12:30 pm at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Texas, an organization Ellen supported for many years.
