SNOW, ELMER RAY “ER” 89 of Mesquite, TX died October 19, 2013 in Dallas, TX. He was born October 16, 1924 in Arkansas City, KS to Ernest Ray and Marie Jane Snow. Elmer is survived by his wife, Marie Snow; daughters, Beatrice Dodd, Lynn Salfan, Jenny Owens, and Kathy Andrews; sons, Clint Davis and David Davis; 8 brothers and sisters; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Raye Jean; great grandson, Kenneth Weeks and 5 siblings. Elmer was a member of the Myrtle Lodge, No. 145, AF & AM in Oklahoma City for 57 years. He was also a member of the India Shrine in Oklahoma City for many years. Elmer was an army World War II veteran, earning medals including a purple heart. Funeral servies will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the chapel.
