Elmer Ross HensonBorn June 5, 1938, in Soper, Oklahoma and passed away July 15, 2019 in Corinth, Texas.Preceded in death by: father, Alvin Richard Henson; mother, Golie Norine Vaughn; brother, Alvin Henson; sisters Alpha Mae Alder, Evelyn Wynn, Nora Henson, Dixie Hale and Fay Chapman.Survived by: wife, Mary Gayle Henson; children Tracy Leigh Henson (Brad Allen Smith); step-children Andrea Gayle Ford, Cindy Beth Parker, Lori Annette Gee, Randall Lanson Duckworth, III and Dan Regan Duckworth; grandchildren David George Parker Jr. (Cristin Delane Kelley Parker), Travis Lynn Ford (Michelle Chhay Ford), Eric Duane Gee, Brandon Ross Parker (Jamie Alicia Ruth Parker), Lauren Ashley Colley (Stephen Colley), Amanda Rene Gee, Randall Lanson Duckworth, IV and Drake Hunter Smith; great-grandchildren, Ethan Russell Colley, Logan Duane Gee, Austin Michael Colley, Landon Chandler Colley, Jackson Ross Parker, Brody Alan Parker, McKenna Lynn Colley, Edison Lynn Ford and Henry Mason Ford.A celebration of Elmer’s life will be held on July 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243. Interment with military honors in Restland Memorial Park will follow.In lieu of flowers, memorials/donations should be made to the Veterans Administration or your local VFW Post.
