Eloise Anthony's Obituary
ANTHONY, ELOISE HUTCHINS passed away on August 8, 2012 in Dallas at the age of 90. Born Nov. 27, 1921 in Bloomburg, Texas, to John and Sallie Hutchins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold B. Anthony. She graduated from Bloomburg High School and worked at the Atlanta telephone office during WWII. Eloise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker, and friend. Eloise is survived by one son, William H. Anthony and wife Nancy of Colleyville; three daughters, Susan Billings of Dallas, Judy Ewing and husband John of Arlington, Nancy Krauland and husband Paul of Plano. Eight grandchildren: Amy Anthony Bonzon and husband Chris, Steven Anthony, Emily Anthony, Lindsay Ewing Class and husband Jeff, Courtney Ewing, Austin Ewing, Daniel Krauland, Matthew Krauland. Two great grandchildren: Aston and Ashlynn Anthony. Her sister, Marjorie Lazuka of Dallas; brother-in-law, George Glass of Atlanta, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Louise Glass of Atlanta, her three brothers Harold Hutchins, John Vernon Hutchins and Kermit Hutchins, and by her son-in-law Charles Spradlin. Eloise was a 40 year member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff and wonderful caregivers at Sunrise of Hillcrest. The funeral will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas with interment in the Garden of Wisdom at Restland.
