A true red headed Texas Beauty; she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on outside. Cooper who passed away February 20, 2006 and one baby sister, Betty Cooper Ellis. They all lived on a farm. All the children would help plant and pick over 680 acres of cotton. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school and received a 4-year scholarship to SMU. The only B, she ever received in college was in English and her classmate Aaron Spelling received a B+. All their other classmates failed the course. She joined Highland Park Methodist Church in 1946 and was a member of the Methodist Student Movement. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Design Degree, she designed and built hotels with Sydney Moore. She then moved to New York to pursue her career. Later, Eloise took a three-month Grand Tour of Europe, before returning to New York. Francis (Frank) LaVerne Reed met the love of his life at SMU and went to New York to bring Eloise back to Texas to be his Bride. They were married June 30, 1955, at Highland Park Methodist Church in Cox Chapel, where Stacia and Don continued the tradition in Cox Chapel, exchanging vows in 1984. Frank went to be with the Lord in 2007. Shortly after, Eloise moved to Friendswood, Texas to reside with her daughter. Stacia and Don enjoyed living with Eloise and will miss her. She had a passion and love for college and professional football. She was classmates with SMU’s Doak Walker, she witnessed the 1947 SWC Championship for SMU with Walker winning the Heisman Trophy. Her love of sports continued for the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Oilers and the Houston Texans.
