Elsie Jeanette Jones, 81, of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Born April 13, 1936, in Newton County, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Alton Leach and Lillian Cater Leach. She loved cooking, gardening, taking walks, and spending time with family. She always loved angels and now has joined the angels in Heaven.She will be dearly missed.She will forever be loved and remembered by her husband of 61 years, Bobby Jones; two daughters, Teresa Jones and Rebecca Tyler; grandson Wesley Talley and his wife, Angie; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brenna Talley; sister Carnell Miller; brothers Jimmie Leach and his wife, Carolyn, Doyle Leach and his wife, Pam, and Glenn Cater and his wife, Melinda. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
