Elsie Rhilda Pace's Obituary
PACE, ELSIE RHILDA One of 9 children, Elsie was born on March 12, 1917 in Whitney, TX to Andrew and Ellen Gatlin and died at her residence on August 5, 2014. On September 19, 1936 she married Obed Clifton Pace. Elsie was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for many years. She loved to write poetry, paint in oils and published the story of her life 20 years ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Wylie, TX for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Dale Pace and wife, Andrea; daughter, Diane Autry and husband, Gary; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; 4 sisters and her husband, Obed Clifton Pace. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel with Rev. Al Draper officiating and burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
