Elvia Diaz Cavazos' Obituary
Elvia Diaz Cavazos, age 90, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 18, 1934, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents Guadalupe Diaz and Francisca Cavazos. On November 6, 1958, she married Hector Morales in Tampico, Tamps.
She was an avid gardener and loved all plants and flowers. Her plants thrived due to her loving care and effort. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mom, grandmother and aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.
Elvia was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Morales Rojas; son, Hector David; daughter, Gabriela Isabel; brothers, Gregorio Diaz and Pablo Diaz and stepsister, Hilda Rosita Elvia.
She is survived by her daughters, Elvia Betsabe (Vicente), Nora Edith (Edmundo) and Gabriela Araceli (Federico); grandchildren, Edson (Karina), Elvia (Gilberto), Edith, Nora Deyanira (Devin), Emmanuel, Victoria and Diana (Nicholas); great grandchildren, Hector and Max; brother, Jorge Y Julio; sisters and stepsisters, Regina, Lupe, Carmen, Lucy Maria de Jesus.
No services will be held here as she will be taken back to her native Tampico in the upcoming weeks. Since no service in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations, in Elvia's name, to the charity of your choice.
She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
