Elvira Alcorte's Obituary
Elvira U. Alcorte passed away at the age of 81, on June 1, 2022. She was born on September 18, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas to Antonio and Lasara Urtado.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She always put her children first and adored all of her grandchildren. She was kind, friendly and always made a friend everywhere she went. She accepted everyone for who they were and always gave her all without hesitation or questions. Elvira was a Breast Cancer Survivor, but going to her kidney dialysis was too much for her body to handle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Alcorte and numerous other family members.
Elvira is survived by her husband, Jose Alcorte; daughters, Mary Ann Alcorte-Rodriguez (Rod) and Sylvia Alcorte-Parker; and son, Joe Alcorte, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Monica A. Diaz, Frederick T. Parker, Elizabeth M. Parker, Roderick R. Rodriguez, Jr. and Gabrielle N. Rodriguez. Also, she is survived by her great grandchildren, Anthony I. Rodriguez, Adrianne I. Rodriguez, Nathaniel C. Lockhart, Nathalia C. Lockhart, Da’Nico J. Lockhart, Dominic E. Lockhart, Frederick T. Parker, Christian R. Parker, Michael Alcorte, Alexandra Alcorte, Jasmine Diaz and Israel Diaz. And, finally by her great great grandchild, Arianna Nicole V. Alcorte.
