19 years ago my daughter and I went to the neighborhood Mexican restaurant called Mexicali's. It is been a long day and, as a single mom, I was too tired to cook and decided to splurge for once. As I was eating my dinner, I noticed my daughters' eyes light up and she was playing peekaboo with someone behind me. I turned around and it was Dale. He and Karenna were having a grand time. 💕😁💞 We ended up leaving about the same time and Dale left first. When I got to the register I found out he had covered our dinner. I chased him out the door and started yelling at him because I didn't know who he was and I did not know what his intentions were. 😤 The manager came out to make sure everything was OK (Josh) and vouched that Dale was truly one of the good guys.✨: 1:😉 I apologized and we have been close friends ever since. With no family in town, Dale adopted us into his family and was "Papa Dale" – and grandpa – to my daughter. He was much loved, will be greatly missed, and certainly always remembered!❣️? Rest in peace friend? 🙏🙏🙏
