Gene Embree Fain's Obituary
FAIN, GENE EMBREE was born June 23, 1937 in Dallas, TX and passed away on August 23, 2012 at the age of 75. He graduated from North Dallas High School in 1954 where he met the love of his life, Patsy Jones, his loving wife of 56 years. He was employed as a union electrician with IBEW Union 59 for over 40 years. Most important was his family and his love of sports, especially the UT Longhorns. Gene was preceded in death by his parents John Embree Fain and Lorene (Patterson) Fain, and son Mark Ellis Fain; survived by his wife Patsy Fain, son Clint Fain, daughter Dawn Giermann, grandchildren Penny & (Franklin) Abell, Justin Fain, Juli & (Matt) Henley, Nathan & (Jessica) Fain, Hali Giermann, Emma Fain, Lexi Giermann, great-grandchildren McKenna, Ryan and Melanie Abell; brother Melvyn (Betty) Fain Sister, Glenda Fain. Visitation will be Monday, Aug 27th 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28th 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. Reception immediately following at Sparkman Club, 3366 Duchess Trail, Dallas 75229.
