Emery Bruce Pyle's Obituary
Born January 9, 1916 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away October 3, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Bruce retired as credit manager of Lone Star Gas and later worked for Weiner Lumber Company before taking final retirement. He loved to read and research the geneology of his family. He was a kind, very gentle person who loved his family dearly. He was a life time member of the Presbyterian Church and served as an ordained deacon. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marie Pyle. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucy; sons, Robert Pyle of Tulsa, OK, Frank Pyle and wife Cathie of Farmersville, TX, David Pyle of Dallas, TX; daughter, Janet Baird and husband Ken of Tulsa, OK; grandsons, Damian Pyle and wife Katy of Baton Rouge, LA, Eric Baird of Tulsa, OK, and Dylan J. Pyle of Plano, TX; granddaughter, Annette Baird of Tulsa, OK; and great grandchildren, Michael Pyle, Daniel Pyle, Elizabeth Pyle and Madelyn Pyle, all of Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 10 am, Monday, October 6, 2008 at Restland Memorial Park with Rev. Carolyn H. Mitchell officiating.
