Emily (Ermila) A. Gonzales was born January 1, 1919 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She departed from this life on earth September 12, 2011 at her home in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her daughters Naomi Escobar and spouse Roy: Mary Gonzalez and spouse Alex; Erma Sendrowski and spouse Joseph; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and one sister Catalina Puga; and sister-in-law Linda Almanza. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack M. Gonzales. She spent the first 45 years of her life living in Waco, Texas before the move to Dallas. She was called “Grandma” by many who came to know her well.
