Emily Stanton Ray's Obituary
Emily Rose Stanton Ray went to be with her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2025. Emily was born in Beaumont, Texas, on November 19, 1937. She was the eldest child and daughter of Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Stanton. Emily has three sisters and one brother.
She was married to Thomas Wayne Ray, her high school sweetheart, for 69 years. Emily served as church secretary at Believers Chapel in Dallas for 22 years, which she always referred to as her “dream job”.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stanton and Teressa Ray; by her daughter and son-in-law, Laine and Micah Koons; (her daughter Julie pre-deceased her) and by her 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved.
