Emma Rita Freeman Angelo's Obituary
Emma Rita Freeman Angelo was born August 4, 1927 in Denison, Texas. She was the youngest and last remaining child of the late Orion and Katherine Freeman. Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; son, Bill Angelo and her beloved twin, Nita Foster. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Angelo Lee, Cindy Angelo Anderson; sons-in-law, John Lee and Glenn Anderson, and grandchildren, Abigail Lee-Scott, Jordan Lee, Casey Lee, Emily Anderson and Max Anderson. Rita was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church for years. She was active until her death. She loved playing bridge, gardening, spending time with her family, friends and her dog Carly. The funeral service for Rita will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 17 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In liue of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
