Emma Louise Holcomb Flohr's Obituary
Emma Louise Flohr began her new life on December 1, 2020 being united with her husband, Leonard Flohr. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Steve Soboff and Fannie (Betty) Holcomb on April 28, 1930. She will be laid to rest next to her husband of 59 years, Leonard James Flohr, Jr. MD along with her mother Fannie (Betty) Holcomb at Restland. She was a graduate of Parkland School of Nursing. She was a homemaker and spent much time working in school organizations, church and civic work. She also spent many years of helping in nursing homes as a volunteer.
She is survived by 5 children, Marcia Lee of Arizona, Fred Flohr of North Richland Hills, TX, Eddie Flohr and Roger Flohr of Dallas, TX and David Flohr of Louisiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations or gifts be sent to The Senior Source in Dallas, TX for their continued support of those dealing with dementia and Alzheimers.
