Emma Jean Linsteadt,83, of Mesquite, Texas passed away 5/17/2021 in Sunnyvale, Texas. She was born 1/3/1938 to Marion and Lucille Thompson in Sherman, Texas. She married J.D. Linsteadt on 11/29/1962 in Sherman, Texas. She was a great Hair Dresser. She is survived by sons Brent and Byron Linsteadt of Wylie, Texas, Stepson David Linsteadt of Garland, Texas and Stepdaughter Theresa Hudson of Waxahachie, Texas, Five Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband J.D. Linsteadt. Her favorite thing was making new friends. She worked tirelessly along side her Husband of 57 years in the ministry as a musician, teacher, singer and dedicated her life to supporting the Ministry. She loved to write letters to her many friends and loved ones. Emma Jean loved her Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and It always showed through her actions and attention she had for everyone. She was Devoted. Devoted to he Mother, Devoted to her Church, Devoted to her Husband, Devoted to her Children. Devoted to her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She was kind, funny talented, creative, but most of all, she was devoted.
