Era Mae Anderson's Obituary
Era Mae Anderson, aged 87, went to be with the Lord on November 13th, 2025. Born on August 9, 1938 in Henderson, TX and raised in Royse City, TX where she went on to attend Ralph J. Bunche School. Later in life, Era relocated to Rowlett, TX and began working for Resitol Hats for over 20 years. She had work ethis like no other and only missed one day during her entire career. After retiring from Resitol Hats, she begin working for Garlan Memorial Hospital as a Nurse's Aid and retired from there several years later.
Era loved the Lord with all her heart and always expressed it proudly. She maintained a steadfast conviction about moral principles. Her faith was her foundation and her family was her joy. Era will forever be remembered for her strength, witness, love, and honesty.
Era is survived by her only son Tony Anderson, his wife Charlotte Anderson, her grandchildren Toya, Mercedes, Tyler, and Tony Anderson II, her great-grandchildren Gabrielle and Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.
Era is preceded in death by her parents Obie and Omie Pegue, her sisters Bobby Nell Pegue, Anna Jewel Pegue, Earline Jones, and Omie Earl Stanley.
