Eran Charley Southern's Obituary
SOUTHERN, ERAN CHARLEY, was born April 24, 1927 in Morris, OK and passed away June 23, 2008 in Rowlett, TX. Charley served in the Army during WW II and retired from Marmon Motors where he worked for 36 years. Charley was raised in a large farming/ranching family in rural Oklahoma where he gained a love for the outdoors and a great appreciation for horses and other animals. He passed this fondness of nature and love for animals on to his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Willie Mae Southern. He is survived by son, Charlie and wife Clara; daughter, Dr. Cynthia Franklin and husband James; sister, Juanita Callaway; and grandchildren, Laura Southern, Christina Franklin, and a host of other friends including his close friend, Willadean DeWoody. Visitation will be from 6:00 ‘ 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 3:30 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
