Eric Duane Moreno's Obituary
Eric Duane Moreno was born on August 22, 1983 in Bedford, Texas to Andrew Moreno and the late Eva Louise Moreno.
He married Elicia Anna Brito in Mesquite, Texas on May 17, 2008. The couple remained together for the next 20 years until his passing on May 14, 2024.
Throughout Eric's life, he worked as an electrician and an electrical contractor. Most of all, Eric was an entrepreneur at heart as he loved working for himself. He loved the Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys.
Eric's greatest joy in life was his son, Ethyn Lee Moreno. As Ethyn's hockey coach, Eric took his hockey team, The Dawgs, to win the championship in 2024. Eric loved his hockey boys like they were his own.
Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Elicia Anna Moreno and their cherished son, Ethyn Lee Moreno. He is also survived by his father, Andrew Moreno, step-mother Tahsha Moreno, his brother and sister-in-law Aaron and Melissa Moreno, cousins Anthony Earl and Ryan Richardson, uncles Guy and Charlie Shiftlette, aunts Sandy Shiftlette and Becky Moreno, and grandmother Charlotte Shiftlette.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother Eva Louise Moreno, aunt Cathy Schuetz, cousin Celina Schuetz, grandmother Elizabeth Moreno and grandfathers Gilbert Moreno and Guy Shiftlette.
Eric will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those he touched.
