Erica Noelle Edmonson's Obituary
In loving memory of Erica Noelle Edmonson, who left us far too soon at the age of 33. Erica departed from this world on July 25th, 2025.
Erica entered this world early on December 2nd, 1991, to Erik Edmonson and Sherrie Spangler Edmonson. A super-premi, she was a fighter from the beginning. From the beginning she was a happy and precocious girl, always smiling and full of life, laughter and sass. In early childhood she loved movies, swimming, playing sports, Granny and BoomBoom and Barney the Dinosaur.
She was raised in Richardson, Texas and graduated from Berkner high school in 2010.
She loved her family and was devoted to and adored her siblings Jordan and Jared. She enjoyed family gatherings, music, movies, netflix, selfies, all things purple, sporting events, spending time with her many, many cousins, and celebrations. She was a loving, loyal, honest and trusted friend. A fierce friend who always had your back. However, her proudest accomplishment and favorite role was being a Mother to her son and only child Jaxon. He was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by great grandparents: Sophie Edmonson (Grancie), Lavera Wayman (AC Wayman), grandparents: Dr. Jim Edmonson (Grandfather), Ann Hagie (Granny), Frank Farley (BoomBoom), Thomas Spangler (Grandpa), aunts: Linda Spangler, Christina Spangler, uncle: Tim Spangler, sibling: Beloved little brother, Jared Noah Edmonson.
She is survived by grandparent: Linda Jones, aunts: Tracie Blair Esroy, Dawn Edmonson Keehn, Shannon Edmonson, uncles Larry Spangler, Danny Spangler, and Brent Spangler. Her sister Jordan Nicole Edmonson Watson and husband Jordan Watson. Her son and light of her life Jaxon Noah Edmonson. Her devoted father, friend, comic relief, coach, and name sake Erik Noel Edmonson. Her loving, patient and devoted mother Sherrie Spangler Edmonson, confidant and constant companion.
There is no rhyme or reason, this is a tragedy for all who love her. We take comfort that she is out of pain, both physical and emotional and that she has been reunited with her brother, Jared. May she be greeted in the kingdom of the Lord by generations of ancestors who welcome her with comfort and love.

Visitation will be held August 8th from 3pm to 8pm at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service to honor the life of Erica Noelle Edmonson will take place August 9th at 2pm at Restland Funeral Home. In Erica’s honor we ask that you wear something purple.
