Ermon Guy Duvall's Obituary
DUVALL, ERMON GUY – Born December 17, 1910 in Ozark, AR passed away on June 2, 2012 in Georgetown, TX, age 101. He is preceded in death by infant son, Ermon Gene; his wife, Hazel; two brothers and one sister. Survivors include sons, David Duvall and wife Greta, Jerry Duvall and wife Carol; and daughter, Ellen Greeney and husband Jim. Guy was the grandfather to Cheryl Giddens, Michelle Henderson, Jill Mucha and Tricia Wilkerson and the great-grandfather to Lauren and Molly Giddens, Abby and Avery Henderson, and Kayden and Barrett Mucha. Guy began working as a security guard in Dallas for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1941 and moved into management before he retired in 1974. He was a deacon at Ferguson Road Baptist Church serving on various committees and singing in the choir’s annual Christmas pageant. He enjoyed collecting, restoring and repairing antique clocks and playing dominoes. Services will be held on June 14 at 3:00pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
