HAYS, JR., ERNEST CLIFTON born May 7, 1951 in Greenville, TX and passed away March 14, 2010 Irving, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ernie is survived by his wife, Merry Hays; sons, Jerry Hays and wife, Amy and Tommy Hays; step-son, Matt Pierce and wife, Marcie, Dwight Pierce; step-daughter, Nicole Pierce; grandchildren: Jeff and Emmerson Hays, Presley Hays, Garret and Abby Pierce, Marissa Pierce, Jordan Williams and Matthew Pierce; uncle, Melvin Hays; sister-in-law, Joan Wales. Services will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Tuesday at Restland Funeral Home. A dinner will follow after the interment at Irving Elks Lodge. Memorials may be made to the Irving Elks Lodge Senior Citizens, 2015 N. Britain, Irving, TX 75061.
