Ernestene Crouch Richards' Obituary
Ernestene was born on June 16, 1922, to Claude and Ruth Glen Crouch in Quanah, Texas. When she was 19 years old, she attended a program sponsored by the National Youth Foundation at Texas Woman's University in Denton where she met her husband to be of 46 years, Clark Richards. He preceded her in death in 1988. She had three different successful careers: assistant to an orthodontist, teaching kindergarten for Christian Schools and working at CCC as the first Activity Director just as the center was opening.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Houser and son-in-law, Dan Houser; grandson Matthew Houser; Nieces Tammi Omer, Mary Clough, Melinda Reagan, Lorna Smith and Cynthia Polson; nephews, Bob Crouch and Richards Davis. She was especially close to two great nieces: Grace Omer and Tess Omer.
In keeping with Ernestene's wishes there will be an open visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Memorial Chapel, located at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park - 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243
