Ervin Charles Olson's Obituary
OLSON, ERVIN CHARLES born Feb. 26, 1929 and raised in Woonsocket, SD and passed away May 29, 2014 in Jefferson, GA. He joined the Air Force after graduation from high school and served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years. Ervin “Ole” and his wife, Maurene, were married for 34 years and resided in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his wife and his step-son, Robert Wells. He is survived by his daughters, Sana Olson and Debbie Olson Cokl (Dwight) of GA; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Wells; his stepchildren, Sally Smith and husband, Jim, Chip Wells and wife, Mary and Sandra Hallmark and husband, Mike; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Wilfrid Chatholic Church, 203 N. 2nd Ave, Woonsocket, SD 57385.
