Ervin Toliver Sr.'s Obituary
Toliver, Ervin, Sr., was boron on July 13, 1925 in Bryan, Texas, to the paentage of Corett and Cora Toliver. He passed away on October 16, 2010. He was dearly loved by famiy and friends and he will be missed tremendously by all. Everyone called him âTâ. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing dominoes, grilling and unfortunately, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He received his formal education from Lincoln High School and served in the U.S. Army for three years. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 39 years, and retired in 1986. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He was a faithful member of Griggs Chapel Baptist Church, where he sung in the Male Chorus and was a member of the Deacon Board. Ervin Toliver, Sr., leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Ervin Toliver, Jr., and a host of family and friends. Proceding him in death was his father, Corett Toliver; his mother, Cora Proctor; and his wife, Johhnie Ruth Toliver.
