Eugene C. Durain's Obituary
Eugene C. Durain Died on March 26, 2011 at 89 years old. Born in McGehee, Arkansas. Graduated from the University of Arkansas and did graduate work at the University of Texas. During World War II, member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers assigned to the top secret staff planning the D-Day invasion and its supply chain logistics. Employed by Corrigan-Jordan Insurance Agency as an account executive for more than 40 years. Served as treasurer and chief administrator of North Dallas Baptist Church for many years. Eugene blessed many lives over the years with his generosity and sacrifice according to his Christian principles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Dallas Baptist Church, 4231 Maple Ave., Dallas TX 75219.
