Bought a new Yamaha 90 from Sportcycle Center in Waco,Tx. in 1970. They let me motocross a 250 YZ for a awhile back then. Really nice people. I'm sure Gene will be missed. He had a daughter Pam Hill and I think a son Eddie Hill. Prayers for the family! 😥😁!

I met Gene in the 60’s when I was working at Fort Wolters for the helicopter training school and Gene came through as a student, then later as an instructor after a tour in Vietnam. We were in touch a few times over the years. He had given me a small box of mementos to keep for him over the years. I found him again in recent years at the VA hospital in Dallas and returned them to him. Gene was a handsome, bigger than life, man and we enjoyed his company. May he Rest In Peace.
