Eugene Paul Koloc's Obituary
Eugene (Gene) Paul Koloc peacefully passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, in Richardson, Texas, at the age of ninety. Gene is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Gail, and his four children: Chris (Laura), Deborah, Scott (Jodi), and John. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gene served in the United States Navy in the Korean War where he completed his honorable mission as AMSAN (Aircraft Mechanic Seaman Apprentice Navigator) with a National Defense Service Medal. He earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Chicago Technical College where he then continued on to own his own contracting company, EG Builders. Through retirement, Gene and Gail enjoyed spending time with their family and spoiling their doberman, Duke. Memorial services for Gene will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Mater Dei Catholic Parish, 2030 E State Hwy 356, in Irving. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lone Star Doberman Rescue.
