Mr. Eugene Allin Moran's Obituary
MORAN, EUGENE (GENE) ALLIN of Dallas died on June 3, 2007. All who knew him will miss his quick wit, love of life and sense of duty. He was born in Independence MO in 1921. He attended William Jewell College and graduated from Kansas University in 1948. As a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, he served proudly and honorably as a pilot in World War II. Gene married Marilyn, his high school sweet heart, in 1944 and was blessed with two daughters and three grandchildren. He was employed by William Volker & Co. and C. & C. Wholesale Distributors and was an avid golfer in his spare time. Survivors include: wife, Marilyn Pickrell Moran; daughters, Gretchen Moran Best and Marcia Moran Ellis; grandchildren, Meredith Moran Best, Molly Kathleen Ellis, Stephen Hardy Ellis; son-in-law, Rory Jan Best; brother-in-law, Dee Jay Pickrell.
