Eugene Payne Jr.'s Obituary
Preceded by wife, Oma Dell, survived by daughter, Cindy, son-in-law Neil, grandson David and nieces and nephews. We have lost another WWII veteran who kept us safe during one of the worst times in our country. He was one of the liberators of the Cabantatuan Death Camp POWs, as well as defeating a far superior force at the Driniumor River in the New Guinea Massacre. Eugene was an active member and past President of the 112th Cavalry Association for many years and fought diligently for the rights of soldiers in past wars and the ongoing movement abating terrorism in the world. He was also a Master Mason for over 50 years.
