Born October 30, 1924 in Vickery, TX and passed away January 1, 2015 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by wife, Lucia G. Spillman; father, Euclid Spillman; mother, Kathryn Lynch Spillman; brother, Dwight Spillman; and sister, Bettye Henderson. Eugene is survived by daughter, Gailyn S. Minx; grandson, Kevin E. Minx; sister, Edith Duncan; and nieces and nephews. Open visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will take place at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Restland Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
