Eula Belle Canada's Obituary
Born in Dallas, Texas on September 26, 1928 and passed away August 17, 2008 with her children around her. She graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1946 with honors. She later received a degree from El Centro College and attended the Business School at Southern Methodist University. Her business career spanned 47 years and employment included National Screen Service, Kirk Dial Co., Dallas Independent School District, Dallas Federal Savings & Loan, Guaranty Federal Savings & Loan, and Middleberg, Riddle, and Gianna. She was very happily married for 47 years to William Ralph Canada, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by son, William Ralph Canada, Jr., of Keller; daughter Patricia Annette Canada of Dallas; and daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Mike Poss of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, James Edward (Jimmy) Key and Beverly Key of Austin. She also has four grandchildren, William James Jennings and Mysti Jennings of Little Elm, Michael Alexander Jennings and Christie Edson of Washington D.C., Joseph Morris of Oklahoma City, and Elizabeth Morris of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She also has two great grandchildren, Tregg Jennings and Elle Jennings, both of Little Elm, Texas. Although she never painted professionally, her love and talent was as a landscape artist. She was a member of the East Dallas Christian Church and the Casa View Christian Church. Services will be held at Restland in the Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. The Rev. Mike Armour will officiate. The family will receive visitors at Restland on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 6 ‘ 8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of Dallas at 8111 LBJ, #425, Dallas, Texas 75251.
